Randy Avent, President of the new Florida Polytechnic University (floridapolytechnic.org), will discuss his vision in starting a new university in Lakeland, Florida inspired by the priorities and approaches of MIT. Robert Payson, Director of the Oxbridge Academy will join him. Learn more about MIT's efforts to improve STEM programs at all levels from K-12 initiatives to the edX.org and OpenCourseWare platforms.
